New Synfora PICO Express Interface to Mentor Graphics ModelSim Simulation Environment Available Now; Synfora Designated a ModelSim Value-Added Partner
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif.—(BUSINESS WIRE)—Oct. 17, 2005—
Synfora(TM), Inc. announced availability of an
integrated product interface for Synfora PICO Express and the
ModelSim(R) simulation environment from Mentor Graphics(R)
(Nasdaq:MENT). With this new interface, chip designers using Synfora
PICO Express and ModelSim will have a seamless verification flow, from
un-timed sequential C to automatically generated fast SystemC models
and RTL testbenches.
As a new ModelSim value added partner, Synfora worked with Mentor
Graphics to develop a fast, optimized product interface. Now, users of
PICO Express can set ModelSim as their preferred simulation
environment, and PICO Express will generate customized scripts that
interface with ModelSim to run SystemC models and RTL testbenches.
Raj Singh, Synfora's senior vice-president of worldwide marketing
and sales, said, "Our mutual customers will benefit from the ability
to create efficient hardware from sequential un-timed C algorithms,
and from the powerful hardware validation and verification solutions
from Mentor."
Dennis Brophy, director of strategic business development of the
Design, Verification & Test division at Mentor Graphics, said, "We are
pleased to welcome Synfora as a partner in providing technology that
streamlines the design process for our joint customers."
